About me
I’m Shamnaz — a multidisciplinary graphic designer, photographer, retoucher and video editor based in Dubai, with 13+ years of crafting visual content for brands, businesses and publishers.
Story
My creative journey started with photography, where I learned lighting, composition and visual storytelling on Sony, Canon and Panasonic systems — capturing products, portraits, lifestyle and conceptual shoots with a clean, modern eye.
Today I work as a graphic designer at Explorer Publishing in Dubai, designing book layouts, catalogues and institutional publications and taking them through to press. Alongside that I create brand identities, proposals and invoices, product mockups and planned Instagram grids for freelance clients.
I bring strong expertise in photo retouching — from commercial product polish to natural portrait enhancement — and in video editing, cutting promos, reels and cinematic content with good pacing. A growing part of my work is AI-driven: concept art, product visuals and full advertisements built with tools like Midjourney, Nano Banana Pro, Higgsfield and Veo, finished with professional editing.
I also build clean, responsive websites in WordPress — this site included — using Elementor, Blocksy and Gutenberg.
